Jerry R. Johnson is an assistant Professor of Automotive Technology at Salt Lake Community College. He is also the Director of The Digital Automotive Education Company. He received an A.A.S. Degree and a Masters Degree Equivalence from Salt Lake Community College. He has certifications in ASE Master Technician with L-1 since 1983 and Nissan Master Technician since 1985. He worked 15 Years as a line Technician, a shop foreman, a service writer, and a service manager in domestic and import repair facilities and dealerships. He also has 17 Years of experience as an automotive instructor at S.L.C.C. Jerry was awarded the Outstanding Correctional Instructor of the year in 1993. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), International Automotive Technicians Network (iATN), Council of Advanced Automotive Trainers (CAAT), and the North American Council of Automotive Teachers (NACAT). Jerry is also a decorated Vietnam Veteran.
